Privacy policy

Piky app. Version of 19 August 2026.

The Piky app collects no data. No account, no tracker, no advertising, no usage statistics. It works without an internet connection. On this website, the only data collected is the email address you enter yourself in the "Prévenez-moi" release alert form, and nothing else.

Who publishes Piky

Piky is published by CS ENGINEERING, a French simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered with the Douai trade register under number 831 094 156, whose registered office is at 41 rue des Frères Desjardin, 59137 Busigny, France.

Contact: through the support page.

The app collects no personal data

The app asks for no name, no email address and no date of birth. It creates no account and offers no sign-in. It contains no audience measurement tool, no advertising network and no third-party analytics, and it sends no information to a server of ours, for the simple reason that we do not have one.

Piky requests no system permission: no camera, no microphone, no photos, no location, no contacts, no notifications.

What stays on the device

Three things are stored locally, in the app's private space, and never leave it:

Deleting the app erases this information. The purchase itself stays attached to the Apple or Google account that paid for it and can be recovered with the "Restore my purchases" button.

In-app purchases

Piky offers a single purchase, one off and permanent, with no subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or by Google Play. We never see your payment details and we receive no information about your identity. Only the existence of a purchase is checked on the device, with the store.

Those purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies, which are outside our control.

Children

Piky is made for children aged 3 to 7 and follows the rules of Apple's Kids Category and Google's "Designed for Families" programme. Since no data is collected, there is no processing of children's data, under the GDPR or under the United States COPPA.

Anything that costs money or could lead out of the app goes through a parental gate first: press and hold for three seconds, then answer a sum written out in words. The app contains no external link, no social network, and sends no notification.

This website

This site sets no cookie and uses no audience measurement tool. It loads no script, no image and no font from another domain. No page collects anything, with the single exception of the release alert form described below. The hosting provider keeps technical connection logs, for security purposes and for a limited time, as any web server does.

A display preference may be stored locally in your browser: the light or dark theme, and whether the small sounds on the home page are on. These are comfort settings, they stay on your device, no data is transmitted and no cookie is set.

The release alert form

On the home page, a form offers to let you know on the day the app comes out. Filling it in is optional, and it is the only way we can obtain any data about you.

The form installs no script and sets no cookie: the page simply sends the fields to Brevo when you click, and not before.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, objection and restriction over your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you have not given us your address, we hold nothing: there is then nothing for us to send you or to erase. If you have, the unsubscribe link in every message deletes it at once. For anything else, go through the support page, where the way to reach us is given. We answer within one month. Withdrawing your consent does not affect messages already sent.

If you write to us, your message and your email address are used only to answer you and are deleted afterwards.

You may at any time contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with a new date. If a future version of Piky were ever to collect anything, it would be announced here and in the app listing before going live.
